My vote goes to Kim Jong Un

This guy has full control of his country which has vasts amounts of natural resources iron, gold, magnesite, zinc, copper, limestone, molybdenum, graphite and rare earth minerals. It is estimate that the value of this is about $6 trillion dollars (source:North Korea is sitting on trillions of dollars of untapped wealth, and its neighbors want in)

Not to mention he now has a few of these:

So I don’t think Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Carlos Slim and Jeff Bezos can hold a candle to Kim Jong Un even though he is not on the Forbes list.

The richest person alive currently is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This name will surprise majority of the people but it is the fact. Infact his wealth is said to be greater than the combined wealth of Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. His wealth was estimated to be $40billions in 2007 and it has increased manifold by now. (Note : His actual wealth can never be ascertained due to the secrecy of the Russian politics).

Some of the sources of his income and big assets owned by him :

He has huge stakes in oil companies. He is said to be having 37% stake in oil company Surgutneftegaz.

He also has a stake in company named Gunvor. This company made a profit of $93Billion in 2012.

He owns a royal palace in the Black Sea the worth of which is around $1 Billion.

He owns around 700 luxury cars, 20 big houses & 58 aircrafts.[1]

He has a luxurious yacht name Graceful.

ARAMCO is set to offer the largest IPO in history in 2018, of about 5% of the company this could impact his status somehow good or bad.The other answers about Putin, and Kim go right along with this. These people control entire nations with assests of wealth unimaginable.Also Queen of England, Rothchilds and Rockafellers should be on here some where…I guess
