Awakens at the most punctual morning
Readies the house, she's a flawlessness
Works with satisfaction, yet unassuming
Her dull melanin skin, full with vitality
She feels torments everywhere on her body, yet her
family should eat
She's solid, she's honored, she's ideal
Her atmosphere of strength her soul of
solid will Her air of I will
succeed paying little heed to the rocky
slopes She is dark, strong and delightful
her quality represented from birth
She is the matron, she is our mom
the foundation of the earth
She admonishes her kids with adoration and care
keeping them from ruining
Shows them the way of life and convention with
affection and care
Gracious, my African mother, if just you know how I
sob when you reprimand me
She appeals to God for her children and her better
half
She's an idealistic lady, she's an
African lady
She's an African mother
