Paul Okoye is sorry, and now he deeply regrets that he brought his family issues on social media, and is not askign his fans to forgive him.

Paul while in a chat with Olisa Adibua on BeatFM, was asked about his sad family drama with his brothers, Peter and Jude.

Recall, the brothers almost came to blows in their lawyer, Festus Keyamo’s office…. Paul said he wasn’t himself at that time, and now, he no longer wishes to stoke more flames.

Despite being persistently probed by the hosts of the show, Paul refused to be drawn into issues bordering on Psquare.

The interview also asked if he’d ever collaborate with his brother, Peter for PSquare again, and he simply said; “I don’t know”.

He however, apologized to his fans, saying, “My fans, take heart. As e dey break my heart, na so e dey break una heart.”

He continued, “I think I was very stupid, in that aspect. Something got into me. I couldn’t stand him. But what I did, I regretted it. Please forgive me for that and let me move on.”

Though he believes every family faces its own issues. “Everybody has problems in their families, everyone has issues,” he said.

A man who spent 27 years behind bars for a murder he didn't commit is set to receive a $15m (£11.2m) payout from officials.

In 1985, Frank O'Connell was convicted of the murder of 27-year-old Jay French, who was found shot dead in a car park in South Pasadena.

O'Connell was picked out in a police photo search by a witness and further evidence came to light that he had been seeing French's ex-wife.

CBS reported that when police found O'Connell had been having an affair with the woman and had also moved in with her not long before the shooting, he was charged with French's death.

As part of the trial, O'Connell opted to face a judge without a jury and in April 1985 was sentenced to spend at least 25 years in prison.

But special investigators found that certain pieces of evidence were not brought to the trial by police, which could have proved O'Connell's innocence.

One of these was that the witness who had selected him as the man behind the murder admitted he had "barely seen the shooter" and "felt pressured" to identify someone.

In March 2012, a court allowed Frank O'Connell's petition for a writ of habeas corpus, which allows an individual to be brought to court if there are concerns raised about the legality of their detention.

After spending some time debating the case with Los Angeles Board, a settlement was eventually agreed on.

The sum of $15m is thought to be the largest between the county and an individual claimant in a decade and is so large that it is expected to be paid out over two years.

Timaya have never been a star - shatta wale

Shatta Wale is once again in the news and this time, he made a huge admission – Ghanaian dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale, has admitted that he is a shoeshine boy – This came after a Nigerian artiste claimed he does not know who Shatta Wale is Shatta Wale reportedly admitted to being a shoeshine boy.

His comment came hours after Nigerian artiste, Timaya, said that he has no idea who Shatta Wale is.

Timaya further wondered if Shatta Wale is a plumber or a shoeshine boy. In a report by mynewsgh.com, the Nigerian artiste mentioned he had been asked by his fans to produce a song directed at Shatta Wale.

This was a result of a number of verbal exchanges between Shatta Wale and some Nigerian music artistes, notably Wizkid and Patoranking. Timaya’s comments prompted a response from Shatta Wale, who released a song. In the song, Shatta Wale admits that he is indeed a shoeshine boy. He however goes ahead to claim that Timaya’s parents are his colleagues in the business.

Shatta Wale added that Timaya should either be pounding fufu or secure employment as a househelp. This, he explained, was because the Nigerian artiste has never been a star.
