BEYOND POLITICAL ASPIRATIONS, CHIEF FELIX IDIGA IS MORE

© Ositadimma Izuchukwu Anslem, 2018

The hallmark and the very essence of living is not necessarily the actions that are targeted towards personal satisfaction and bliss. At the ultimate demise of all mortals, the chorus of a life well lived or not shall be heralded by the lives affected, positively or adversely. Amidst the narcissistic and egocentric epithets people assume with so much fanfare, the man Chief Felix Idiga is distinguished. In keeping to the enormous responsibilities of the title which his people conferred on him - "nkwa chukwu kwere Orlu", meaning God's promise to the Orlu people; "JAFAC" as he's preferably called has continued to be the figure that elicits smiles from the faces of his constituents, through his philanthropic outfit which has spanned for over a decade - The JAFAC Foundation.

The JAFAC foundation over the years has continued to show the people that there is a difference between having riches and being rich in spirit. Through the foundation, many have been gifted with seed monies.  His numerous empowerments through the various Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) schemes, arises from his angst against the monster of unemployment . The feeding, health and educational needs of the less  privileged are regularly catered for amongst others as hospital and school bills are picked regularly. Severe health complications are also taken abroad for more medical attention. Capital projects are not excluded in the list. The nooks and crannies of Imo State can testify with presence of durable access roads, with drainages and street lights, portable water, amidst other cooperate social responsibilities. Invariably, he has become more useful to his people that the plethora of public office holders that has occupied various exalted political offices in Imo State over the years. Chief Felix Idiga remains one of the few persons his people continue to yearn for in driving the affairs of their polity.

Bishop Desmond Tutu once opined that whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government. For the quest of a better platform to affect the lives of his people, history can attest to the various attempts of Chief Idiga at clinching some political offices in the past - governorship and senatorial. This does not depict political desperation but a sincere desire to humane to the vast majority of his people who have been disappointed in this regard. The leadership of Imo people must reflect her literacy level. Since a society is as good as their leaders, then a new narrative of a people has to be peddled.

The scientists, Albert Einstein once remarked that the only reason why we should do good, is because it's good it self. This has been Felix Idiga's major driving force in life. " What good is life when all around you can't afford medical bills or tuition fees" Chief Idiga asked an interviewer who once asked what his driving force was for such an unparalleled philanthropy!

From building classrooms, paying medical bills, renovating public infrastructure, paying tuition fees and empowering so many others, chief Felix Idiga is everywhere, he's in a hurry to make the world a better place and singlehandedly end poverty.

"The Merchants of Lies and The Man Felix Idiga" By Mazi Ejimofor Opara

The Merchants of Lies and The Man Felix Idiga

By

Mazi Ejimofor Opara

Every epoch of human existence produces its own unique sets of Legends and their array of uncommon accomplishments. Regrettably, there is no legend without a scar emanating either from the bruises of physical assaults or meta narratives; in extreme cases, both interplay to subdue their sterling records for reasons not so unconnected with deliberate mischief by human folks, disappointingly so, folks from the household of Legends.

Chief Idiga Felix is one of the Legends of this epoch with his own fair share of reckless scars. The Amaifeke business mogul and  philanthropist have erroneously been a subject of unfounded news reports, chief amongst them been the unsubstantiated $9.3million dollars arms deal scandal. The falsehood only gained credence on the basis of a festering animosity for the towering profile of the enigmatic CEO of JAFAC Group, whose selflessness have so allured his people that they keep calling on him to chart a political path for their socioeconomic advancement. This singular act has not only provoked hate from some powerbrokers who feed fat at the expense of the people's welfare, but informed the longstanding character assassinations of Chief Idiga on the media.

The truth about the story remains that;

➖ At the time the aircraft was confiscated by the South African government, Nigerian government claimed ownership of the money, while the owner of the aircraft claimed his property. At no point was any investigation conducted, not to talk of indicating Chief Felix Idiga or his company directly or indirectly.

➖ The said aircraft does not belong to him or any of his companies

➖ His aircraft with the Registeration number N497AG is registered with the name SWAT Technology Ltd. and was never involved in any cash-for-arms deal as peddled by some distraught elements.

The Man who his people have come to define as "God's promise to them" (Nkwa Chukwu Kwere Orlu), has remained undeterred by the deliberate mischief of power mongers who are bent on casting a snag on his unblemished integrity. Chief Idiga, as a consummate grassroot leader understands the basic concerns of his people. Little wonder the aptness of his very affective empowerment and humanitarian projects scattered across Orlu zone and beyond. The obvious threat he poses is to the enemies of populist welfare, persons who have not affected the lives of the people positively in spite of their seeming perpetuity in power.

While I reckon that "all is fair in love and war", I also believe that life is governed by basic principles and these principles must of necessity shape our social and political relations with each other.  The media as a very sensitive institution, must not let loose of its enduring etiquette by ensuring a balance of stories before hitting the press. Most of the damaging stories on Chief Felix Idiga's involvement in the spurious arms deal lack depth and are laced with mudslinging than objective reportage. The thousands of persons whose smile remain the utmost concern of Chief Felix Idiga are his driving force, not even the blackmail and vandetta missions of a few millers of vile have vitiated his resolve to better the lot of humanity.

I am persuaded that lies are not only fickle but also self destructive. Those who peddle it may not understand this. However, they cannot be immuned from its dire consequences, because karma is indeed out there. Chief Felix Idiga against the admonition of rabblerausers has shunned every entreaty to initiate legal actions against these "pay-as-you-go" online publishers running this calumny against his hard earned personality. Indeed, rumours are initiated by enemies, spread by ignorants and accepted by the shallow minded.

Apostle Suleman told me to make false confession against the Nigerian Government – Stephanie Otobo

A few days after Apostle Johnson Suleman released a video of Miss Stephanie Otobo apologising to him and saying she was hired by unnamed politicians to unhinge the preacher with a sex scandal, a newly released video by Sahara Reporters, has surfaced to show the confession was scripted by Apostle Suleman and his handlers.

The almost nine-minute video was recorded on June 21, 2017, by Canada-based Worship Media. Introducing Miss Otobo in the video were two people Chidi, and Erica.

They said the met Miss Otobo last year after the sex scandal broke between her and Apostle Suleiman had left her broken. She sought spiritual and moral support from them, which they offered.

Chidi and Erica said Miss Otobo told them that she was under pressure from Apostle Suleiman to apologize and lie that it was the Nigerian government that hired her to destroy him. In the video, Miss Otobo herself said she was phoned by Apostle Suleiman’s agents in Canada, US and Nigeria, urging her to return to Nigeria and tell the lies that had been scripted by the preacher.

When the pressure piled on unbearably and she decided to visit Nigeria follow up on her case slammed against her by the police working closely with Suleman, Miss Otobo met with Chidi and Erica and requested to have a video recorded, as she did not know what could happen to her in Nigeria. She urged them to release the video in case any untoward event happened on her visit to Nigeria.

Speaking, Miss Otobo thanked those who have supported her and stated that Apostle Suleman was pressuring her family and others to lie that the government was behind the scandal.

“This is what Suleman is asking me to do,” she said.

She stated that she didn’t know how far the preacher was ready to go to extract a confession from her. She wondered why Apostle Suleman didn’t see the scandal coming if he is a true man of God.

Chidi, who introduced the video, said he received a text from a source apparently working with Apostle Suleiman on Sunday, warning him against releasing any more video claiming that over time, Miss Otobo had confessed that he was also part of the plan to destroy the preacher. The “aide” also said the preacher’s camp is ready to release videos showing Miss Otobo saying how Chidi was part of the plot. Chidi, however, said he had passed on the message to his lawyers.

Last week, and days after she appeared in a court hearing in Lagos and also filed an affidavit asking a Lagos high court to demand to have the priest manhood examined and compared to those she took from phone sex session, Ms. Otobo suddenly disappeared after meeting with her lawyers in Lagos. On Saturday morning she was shown on video “apologizing” to the controversial priest to the consternation of church members who apparently didn’t know it was all scripted.

Since appearing in Apostle Suleman’s church for the confession, Ms. Otobo has not been heard of again, fuelling speculation that she might be in danger of being held against her will.

See Chrome 64 Exciting Features: Mute Sites & Reminder Ads

When you update your Google Chrome browser to Chrome 64, you will enjoy the new feature to mute websites and disable reminder ads.

A very big thanks to the latest update on Google Chrome browser as the Chrome 64 version just got released. So, what’s new in the Chrome 64? Two things. First, you can now permanently mute websites. Secondly, you can permanently disable “reminder ads” on your browser without the need for add-ons such as Adblock.

This version of Chrome 64 is the stable (not beta) version for desktop computer users. That means no more annoying ads pop-ups and no more unnecessary notifications from scandalous websites.

How To Mute Sites On Google Chrome 64

Firstly, Chrome 64 allows you to mute entire websites. Before now, you could temporally mute certain sites such as Facebook and Twitter and tabs from displaying notifications and ads. But now, you can do that permanently.

So, if you have a tap with an annoying pop-up and you wish to permanently mute it, simply right-click on it and select “Mute site”. That’s all. The site on that tab will be muted permanently.

How To Mute “Reminder Ads” On Google Chrome 64

If you have “reminder ads” as Google terms them on your browser, and you wish to mute or disable them, then here is what to do with the Chrome 64. “reminder ads” are those ads for certain kinds of products which you had once thought of buying. Because of this, the company keeps sending you periodic or incessant reminders about the product or service.

With the Google 64 stable release, you can now disable such “reminder ads” from showing next time you launch your browser or go online.

So, big thanks to Google for this timely effort. It will at least instill sanity in browsing experience, making it more of a pleasure and nor a chore. The downside is that advertisers will now lose certain revenue for their efforts. Of course, not everyone will be hit. Those who engage in legit, sane and ethical advertainments will not be hit by this update.

Shocking Video: Ghananian Principal Caught Having Sex With A JSS2 Student

The Headmaster of Breman Edumanu D/A Basic School in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District of the Central Region, whose name is Robert Sepey, who was caught in a sex tape with a 16-year-old student, is on the run.

The District Police Command and chiefs and people of the town are currently on the heels of the disgraceful headmaster, Sepey over the alleged sex tape.

Members of the community are expecting the chief of the town, Nana Asare Bediako, to take action but he has said there is nothing they can do about the situation since the story is already in the media.

The District Chief Executive, Isaac Odoom, when contacted, said the issue had not come to his attention. The video, which has since gone viral, has sparked outrage among the people of Breman Edumanu, near Breman Awhiam.

The headmaster is believed to have recorded the sex bout himself. In the 4 minutes 16 seconds video, the 17-year-old, a senior high school student, is seen kneeling on a local chair while Mr. Sepey was in the act.

The youth and opinion leaders of the town are therefore calling for a mass transfer of all teachers in the community since they claim the phenomenon has existed for long. Some aggrieved past students of the school said the headmaster is alleged to be in the habit of having sexual affairs with pupils.

They said until the emergence of this sex tape, the headmaster had demanded evidence anytime parents accused him of such acts. Some community members said they feel embarrassed by the development and have threatened to demonstrate against the headmaster if he is not dealt with accordingly.

We entreat the police to arrest him for this act.

How to upload a new template to blogger.

by making use of the Template Designer, there might be occasions you may prefer to download and install a Blogger template sent to you by someone or the one downloaded from sites that offer custom Blogger templates eg btemplates.com.

Just as with WordPress themes and Joomla templates, you need to be careful about using free Blogger templates found on the web because they might include malware or spam links to other sites which might harm your blog SEO. If the source is trusted, no cause for alarm.

For you to install a template successfully, it must be in the .xml format that is compatible with Blogger. Most sites where you can download free Blogger templates package the .xml file and some other files in a zip file. Hence, you will have to unzip the file before you can upload the .xml file to your Blogger blog. If you upload the .zip file directly to Blogger, you will likely get a blogger template upload error.

How To Install New Blogger Template

Now, let’s assume you have the .xml file of the template you want to upload. Just follow me through the steps below, to install it to your Blogger blog:

==> Sign in to www.blogger.com and click on your blog in the dashboard
==> Back up your blogger template.  Very Important!
==> Click on “Template”

==> Click the Backup/Restore button located at the upper right corner of the screen
==> A popUp similar to the screenshot below will appear

==> Click “Browse“. Select the .xml file of the template you want to install
==> Click “Upload“.

See also :   Spot.IM Social Network Integration Widget for Blogger and WordPress Blogs

Preview your blog and if everything is fine, hit the ‘Save Template‘ button.

If upload is successful, you should notice the changes once you view your blog in your browser.

That’s all.

Don’t Know How To Unzip The Zip File You Downloaded?

In Windows and Linux, you can right-click the Zip file and select “Extract All…” Extract All will allow you to set a path for the extracted folder to go.

Select the location for the extracted folder. You will see the .xml file of the template in the folder.

I hope this helps.

“Dated him for 6 years, had 7 abortions, paid his fees.. Next week, he’s marrying my Best-friend”

This story might just make you CRY.. Literally. This story is saddening, saddening because the lady in question may or may not be able to conceive again. Saddening because, some men are truly scum and also, because a lover was not only fooled but a close friend was used to fill the gap. Life! More.

In the year 2009, Ms. J who resides in Abuja, rounded up her Secondary School studies and like many other Nigerian fresh high school graduates, she attempted JAMB. (For readers who aren’t familiar with our great country’s education system, Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions.

The board conducts entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities. Of course, she was a very smart girl, so she passed with a good score (297 to be precise) and luckily for her, she was shortlisted for PUME (An examination conducted by Universities to further screen candidates).

Fast forward to her journey to the West, she was to stay with her aunt for her PUME and like every concerned Nigerian parents, they had instructed her aunt (father’s youngest sister) to make sure she read thoroughly for her PUME which was suppose to hold in few days. But truly, they didn’t even need to go that far, because she was a “serious-bookworm”, a bookworm who intentionally bereft herself from the pleasures of “hanging out or making friends” but made sure her books followed her wherever she went to!

In fact, she was the Library prefect in her Secondary School days (I forgot to chip that in, earlier.) Few days after flying into town, it was time for her to yet again make her family proud. Her aunt drove her to the University…. It was the University for the big boys and girls.

The University where things happen.. The University where “all dem ladies” loved packaging themselves. She went in for her PUME and came out with smiles. She knew she had worked her usual magic and was very certain her first attempt into University was a done-deal.

She had asked and begged her parents to let her stay with her aunt for a while, so as to chill with her (her aunt wasn’t married by the way).

Her parents agreed, after all, she was with her closest relative they thought, it wouldn’t be so nice to just let her breeze in for her PUME then out immediately she’s done. “Give the girl some breathing space”, they thought. Her aunt was an entrepreneur who had a thriving Digital Agency, which was quite popular. She had a staff strength of about 25. One day, Ms. J asked that she followed her to the office, and she obliged. That was the day everything started changing! She met Mr. J in her aunt’s company. He was a part-time staff in the agency and right after her meeting with him, things took a drastic turn. In fact, it was love at first sight for her. According to her, Mr. J had everything she ever wanted in a guy. He did not only tickle her fancy, he also took her to cloud 9 by just gazing. (The question would be, what does a 17 year old book-worm know about “tickling fancy” right??).. Well,…

One thing led to another, they started communicating, and all through the five weeks she stayed at her aunt’s, she always followed her to her workplace and the times she stayed back home as a result of her menstrual cramps, she informed Mr. J, so he called in sick, didn’t show up at work but went to chill with, comfort and caress her. At that point, she was over the moon. To her, no one had ever shown her such care during her “painful moments“. This happened for 3 days and right under her aunt’s supervision. She got excited when she got to realise that he was in the same university she applied and wrote her PUME. He was a second year student who decided to make extra cash by running a part-time job in Ms. J’s aunt’s digital agency.. It meant one thing, they will be closer if she eventually got admission into the University.

It was time for her to fly back to Abuja, they said their goodbyes over the phone and she begged that he continued communicating. This, they did and when the list came out, she was accepted into the University to study Law (Her first choice).

Fast-forward to when she got into Uni: Ms. J had convinced her parents that, she wanted an accommodation in campus. She told them that it would be easier for her to be more focused with her studies, easier to access the school’s library, study there and also, easier for her to attend lectures on time because her aunt’s place was quite a distance from the University and the usual traffic will be stressful. Her parents “okayed” it and sent her funds for her hostel accommodation but unbeknownst to them, she did this so as not to be supervised by her aunt and also, to be free to be with her Mr. J (Young love).

In her first year, second semester, on her birthday to be precise, Mr. J asked her to be his girl, of which she agreed to and that indeed, changed the course of her destiny. She was so in love with Mr. J that she became his mother, care-taker, lover, financial adviser, helper, money lender, money-dasher, bill-footer and the list goes on. (By the way, she was from a very rich family, so money was truly never her problem).

She did everything for and with him and maybe…, just maybe that’s why he decided to take her for granted. Three days after her birthday, he begged her to come over and spend the night at his place (He shared a room with his friend). They had planned to “make love” that night. Of course, this was her first time, and she was very much okay giving her body to her first love. Things were going great, her clothes off, about getting a lubricant then a knock on the door was heard. It was his roommate. He had come back from a fellowship. The time was some minutes past 8pm.

Though he had informed and begged his roommate to chill in another room that night, his roommate didn’t oblige. (His roommate was one of those overly-not soggy guys), so he had messed up their plans big time! So many pleas from Mr. J fell on deaf ears and he actually insisted on lying on the same bed as the girl and Mr. J.. In his own words, “I pay the same amount of money with you, so I have to sleep on the bed.” Crazy right?…. Yes! Every plan they had was shattered, she had to leave the room and head back to her hostel because the bed was not big enough to accommodate three people. Luckily, his apartment wasn’t so far from the hostel.

Four days after the incident, Ms. J paid in a huge sum of money into her boyfriend’s account and asked him to get a well furnished accommodation. The decision to do this was made after she consulted her closest friend on campus, Titi. Titi happened to be her bonk mate and also, course-mate. Mr. J, after series of refusal to accept her offer, later obliged (After all, it was beneficial to both of them). He got a house, very comfortable, got furniture and also, got a generator. The money was that much that her could get all these and have some more change for running around

The night after he had settled into the new house, his “wash-night plan” was to deflower her. He made love to her (at least, that is what she thought). From that moment, she became his sex doll. Every time and everyday, he’d control her to his house for sex. Sometimes during her lectures, he will keep buzzing her till she finally decides to leave class for his apartment. He even suggested that she moved in with him, to stay from Monday to Fridays since she normally spends the weekend at her aunt’s. She accepted this, thinking it was in her own best interest. At least, everyone would know it is official – So, she thought.

His fourth year was a bit rough for him. He had quit his part time job in Ms. J‘s aunt’s place to fully concentrate in school, and for the fact that he was the first of five kids from a broken home and his mum did menial jobs to sustain herself and the kids, help from home wasn’t forthcoming. He was sad to say the least but Ms. J became his knight and shinning armour. She would make sure he lacked nothing, I mean nothing at all. Ms. J always got an excess of N70,000 monthly allowance from home, so she’d keep N20,000+ for herself and give N50,000 to her boyfriend. (It is noteworthy to mention that Mr. J was paid N50K monthly from his part time job he quit).

Meaning, she started paying the exact same amount he was receiving when he was still working.. (Indeed, she truly loved this lad). She’d use N20,000+ to take care of herself. Deprived herself of the things she normally used which were expensive and because she didn’t want her parents thinking about how she suddenly developed a lavish lifestyle, she never asked that they topped her monetary-allowance. Mr. J was living the life. Now he could afford to spend without thinking of how the money was made. Flexing at the detriment of his bae. Drinking, smoking and even womanising.. His true colours started showing but she still loved him, regardless. Prior to his fourth year, after deflowering her, he normally wore a condom each time he wanted to have sex with her, but, after his fourth year; second semester, he insisted they go raw. This caused a strain in their relationship because Ms. J didn’t want it but he insisted that if she truly loved him, she would oblige.

They had a serious fight over this, so she went back to her accommodation in school, once again, confided in Titi (who eventually became her best friend in Uni). Titi advised that she give in because she had already given a lot to the relationship and it will be dumb for her to lose him because of “sex”. And like always, she agreed. Days after their fight, she went to his house to apologise but met a girl there. A 300L Law student who she recognised (She would later discover he had sex with her and many others too). Bae begged silly that night, cried her eyes off, cried like a pikin just so he could forgive her for refusing to have sex without a condom. But my guy refused. It took the intervention of Titi, who came to his house to subdue the whole tension and issue.

Titi had played her part, time for her to go, he asked that he gets her number just so as to be able to reach Ms.J through her incase Ms.J’s phone is switched off. Ms. J, reluctantly accepted (She couldn’t do much at this point, because she didn’t want another issue and for the fact that Titi was her closest friend and the reason why things didn’t fall apart, she just kept mum in the background). Sex was like free food for Mr. J and his PULL OUT GAME was LAME! That same year, she had 3 abortions for him (3 abortions in one year) and each time she aborted, he’d promise that he would be careful next time.

Mr. J in his final year, had issues with some courses, so he automatically had an extra year. Ms. J was in her 4th year now, and about to graduate. Her grades had somewhat nose-dived because of the stress in her relationship. Things weren’t going as planned anymore and it now looked like she was just a sex-doll for him, yet, she still had hope that he loved her. That same year, she had another 3 abortions, and on her sixth attempt, she almost died of complications. In fact, the doctor said he won’t be involved in any abortion case concerning her, anymore. She almost bled to death. It was at this point she started re-thinking life.(But this didn’t last for long because she was blinded by love)

Just like her boyfriend, she had issues with some courses and had to re-sit. That year saw her G.P fall like an Iroko tree. She started struggling with average grades in almost all papers. Her boyfriend finally graduated with a 2.1 after sorting some lecturers (money he got from his bae) and was posted to Abuja for his NYSC. She was ecstatic after hearing about this because she had planned to relocate full time to Abuja immediately after the completion of her studies. Her law school was already prepped by her parents in Abuja. (They were that influential).

Titi had graduated before her and left the university to her base in Oyo State. She regularly spoke to her concerning life’s matters and most importantly, issues between she and her bae Even after graduating, Ms. J was still financially responsible for him and the funny thing is, after four years of dating, he never for once even introduced her to his nuclear family. (He always had an excuse each time she raised the topic. Always!) After 3 weeks in Kubwa camp, and getting his Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), he headed back to Lagos to see his family and also, Ms. J. Unbeknownst to her, he actually came to see her so she could help him raise some money to rent a boys quarters (BQ) he found which was close to his primary assignment.

The sum was quite much, but she just had to raise it so he could be comfortable in Abuja, she did the usual, sent funds to his account. After that day, he was coming to their lodge for steady knacks.. She fell pregnant again! And like always, was asked to do the needful which she reluctantly did. (Her 7th abortion in 4 years). Because their regular abortion-expert doctor refused to do the D&C, they had to travel all the way to another state to flush it. Titi had recommended a good doctor. After the successful D&C, the doctor made it known to her that, she might not be able to bear a child again because her womb may have been affected. And she decided to share this vital information with her best friend, Titi… (Ladies, keeping to yourself helps a whole lot).

Fast forward to her graduation and relocation back to Abuja: Titi had started her Law School earlier and was based in Abuja too, a stone-throw from Mr.J’s house. In fact, Ms. J was aware they sometimes visited themselves. Ms. J begged her friend to help with foodstuffs for her bae, which she obliged. Their bond became stronger, then the “long-overdue affection” began to manifest. Titi had made it known that she always had feelings for him since University days and was jealous of her his relationship with Ms. J. Mr. J also, made it known that, he felt same way and though he never buzzed her after collecting her digit way back in school, his main intention was to get to know her better but couldn’t because he somewhat had Ms.J full time at home and didn’t want to arouse suspicion.

Titi decided to spill the beans on her best-friend’s inability to bear a child and immediately Mr. J heard it, he found a LEVERAGE to leave her. Citing that, he definitely won’t be with her anymore because what he is looking for right now is a WIFE MATERIAL. When Ms. J came back to Abuja, she noticed Mr. J had changed towards her, and in fact, each time they had sex, he always wore a condom, cold shoulders, lackadaisical attitude towards her and rarely even called or checked up on her but still, she was still giving him his regular pay check on a monthly (50k). Three months gone, his behaviour worsened, it was clearer to her that she probably had lost his love. So one day, she decided to show up at his, unannounced. Lo and behold, she met bae with Titi, lying down in his bed,…. Stark Naked! (My question at this point was, since he heard a knock on his door and most likely verified it was Ms. J, why didn’t he ask Titi to dress up? At least, even if she had her clothes on, she won’t have been really fussed!)…..

The answer I got was; maybe they were tired of hiding and didn’t care anymore. She was greeted with a smile from her supposed BEST FRIEND and before she could say a word, Mr. J said, “I broke up with you long ago, I broke up with you the very day I was told you may not be able to bear children. How will I marry a barren woman?” Right there and then, she knew Titi was behind this but all she could do was sob and leave… 5+ years of her life gone, 5+ years of so many sacrifices for Mr. J, 5+ years of giving her all for the relationship. 5+ years gone to the drain.. 5 + years! All these flooded her thoughts. As I write this, Ms. J is out of the country and an IV for Titi and Mr. J’s wedding has flooded Social Media. Titi and her Ms.J’s ex dated for a year+ and decided to tie the knot. Mr. J now works in a big Engineering Firm in PortHarcourt while Titi just finished her NYSC.

The wedding is for 27th,January What a life!

Twitter Lady who says she cant date a guy who earns N100,000 gets jammed! She once begged Don Jazzy and Tekno For N50k (screenshots)

Yesterday, a social media user, Toke caused an uproar on social media, after she declined a request to date a guy who earns N100,000 salary monthly.

She previously answered a question via a social network, curiouscat, a Q&A social network that allows you to connect with your followers and know new people.

Apparently, a potential boyfriend for Toke asked the question if he can slide into her DM, having that he earns jus N100,000 monthly.. Toke declined him with the response: “I can’t so don’t come close to my DM. Thanks” …and she further justified her reasons as thus:

Trust Nigerian FBI.. They’ve dug out her old tweets where she begged Don Jazzy and Tekno for N50,000!

Who is the richest person alive right now?

David Durst

My vote goes to Kim Jong Un

This guy has full control of his country which has vasts amounts of natural resources iron, gold, magnesite, zinc, copper, limestone, molybdenum, graphite and rare earth minerals. It is estimate that the value of this is about $6 trillion dollars (source:North Korea is sitting on trillions of dollars of untapped wealth, and its neighbors want in)

Not to mention he now has a few of these:

And a bunch of these:

So I don’t think Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Carlos Slim and Jeff Bezos can hold a candle to Kim Jong Un even though he is not on the Forbes list.

***UPDATE***

For the commentary on him not owning a yacht, who needs one when you have one of these green monsters

Picture him roll’n

Travel… who needs it when people come to you

And you can build your own amusement parks.

The richest person alive currently is Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This name will surprise majority of the people but it is the fact. Infact his wealth is said to be greater than the combined wealth of Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. His wealth was estimated to be $40billions in 2007 and it has increased manifold by now. (Note : His actual wealth can never be ascertained due to the secrecy of the Russian politics).

Some of the sources of his income and big assets owned by him :

He has huge stakes in oil companies. He is said to be having 37% stake in oil company Surgutneftegaz.

He also has a stake in company named Gunvor. This company made a profit of $93Billion in 2012.

He owns a royal palace in the Black Sea the worth of which is around $1 Billion.

He owns around 700 luxury cars, 20 big houses & 58 aircrafts.[1]

He has a luxurious yacht name Graceful.

Seems like people think those on forbes are actually the richest—

NOT

EVEN

CLOSE

Try this Man, My Brother-May Allah preserve him:

The King of Saudia Arabia:

Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud:

He is worth Over a TRILLION DOLLARS!!!!!!

And before you go crazy saying “No Way!” and see his public net worth at $1.5 Billion lets look at somethings a bit closer

Saudi Aramco is owned and operate by the Saudi Government-the Saudi Royal Family

It produces about $1 Billion PER DAY!!! And is the most valuable company on Planet Earth!!

Saudi Aramco (Arabic: أرامكو السعودية‎‎ ʾArāmkō s-Suʿūdiyyah), officially the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, most popularly known just as Aramco (formerly Arabian-American Oil Company), is a Saudi Arabian nationalpetroleum and natural gas company based in Dhahran. Saudi Aramco's value has been estimated at between US$8.25 trillion and US$10 trillion, making it the most valuable company in the world by Market Capitalisation .*Saudi Aramco - Wikipedia*

So if you are the Head of State which owns the largest buisness in the world that would easily make you the Wealthiest by a long shot!!

Bezos, Gates, Zuckerburg and Buffet COMBINED do not have this type of wealth!!

A few notes,

ARAMCO is set to offer the largest IPO in history in 2018, of about 5% of the company this could impact his status somehow good or bad.The other answers about Putin, and Kim go right along with this. These people control entire nations with assests of wealth unimaginable. Also Queen of England, Rothchilds and Rockafellers should be on here some where…I guess

No matter how much money you have, you cannot take it with you when you die, we all go out the same way we came in- with nothing.

Bitcoin’s Price Crashes, Many Now Say The Cryptocurrency Has No Value

Bitcoin’s price has been on a wild ride since its inception. 2017 alone saw massive gains, starting the year at under $1,000 and, at its peak, it hit $19,000.

Yesterday it Plunged down to $11,000

I’ve been watching this bitcoin situation for a few years, assuming it would just blow over.

But a collective insanity has sprouted around the new field of “cryptocurrencies”, causing an irrational gold rush worldwide. It has gotten to the point where a large number of financial stories – and questions in my inbox – ask whether or not to “invest” in BitCoin.

Let’s start with the answer: no. You should not invest in Bitcoin.

The reason why is that it’s not an investment; just as gold, tulip bulbs, Beanie Babies, and rare baseball cards are also not investments.

These are all things that people have bought in the past, driving them to absurd prices, not because they did anything useful or produced money or had social value, but solely because people thought they could sell them on to someone else for more money in the future.

When you make this kind of purchase – which you should never do – you are speculating. This is not a useful activity. You’re playing a psychological, win-lose battle against other humans with money as the sole objective. Even if you win money through dumb luck, you have lost time and energy, which means you have lost.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies ‘will come to bad end’, says Warren Buffett
Investing means buying an asset that actually creates products, services or cashflow, such as a profitable business or a rentable piece of real estate, for an extended period of time. An investment is something that has intrinsic value – that is, it would be worth owning from a financial perspective, even if you could never sell it.

To answer why bitcoin has become so big, we need to separate the usefulness of the underlying technology called “blockchain” from the mania of people turning bitcoin into a big dumb lottery. Blockchain is simply a nifty software invention (which is open-source and free for anyone to use), whereas bitcoin is just one well-known way to use it.

A bitcoin is not an investment, just as gold, tulip bulbs, Beanie Babies, and rare baseball cards are also not investments.

A bitcoin is not an investment, just as gold, tulip bulbs, Beanie Babies, and rare baseball cards are also not investments.

Blockchain is a computer protocol that allows two people (or machines) to do transactions (sometimes anonymously) even if they don’t trust each other or the network between them. It can have monetary applications or in sharing files, but it’s not some instant trillionaire magic.

As a real-world comparison for blockchain and bitcoin, take this example from the blogger The Unassuming Banker:

Imagine that someone had found a cure for cancer and posted the step-by-step instructions on how to make it online, freely available for anyone to use.

Now imagine that the same person also created a product called Cancer-Pill using their own instructions, trade marked it, and started selling it to the highest bidders.

I think we can all agree a cure for cancer is immensely valuable to society (blockchain may or may not be, we still have to see), however, how much is a Cancer-Pill worth?

Our banker goes on to explain that the first Cancer-Pill (bitcoin) might initially see some great sales. Prices would rise, especially if supply was limited (just as an artificial supply limit is built into the bitcoin algorithm).

Bitcoin has become a bubble with the forces of human herd behavior, greed, and fear of missing out amplifying it
But since the formula is open and free, other companies quickly come out with their own cancer pills. Cancer-Away, CancerBgone, CancEthereum, and any other number of competitors would spring up. Anybody can make a pill, and it costs only a few cents per dose.

Yet imagine everybody starts bidding up Cancer-Pills to the point that they cost $17,000 each and fluctuate widely in price, seemingly for no reason. Newspapers start reporting on prices daily, triggering so many tales of instant riches that even your barber and your massage therapist are offering tips on how to invest in this new “asset class”.

Instead of seeing how ridiculous this is, more people start bidding up every new variety of pill (cryptocurrencies), until they are some of the most “valuable” things on the planet.

People who think that there’s even a tiny chance bitcoin could become a world currency say it is severely undervalued.

You could make the same argument about my fingernail clippings: they may have no intrinsic value, but they’re in limited supply so let’s use them as the new world currency.

Let’s get this straight: in order for bitcoin to be a real currency, it needs several things:

Easy and frictionless trading between people.
To be widely accepted as legal tender for all debts, public and private.
A stable value that does not fluctuate (otherwise it’s impossible to set prices).
Bitcoin has none of these things, and even safely storing it is difficult. Bitcoin exchanges such as Mt Gox in Japan, Bitfinex and various other wallets and exchanges have been hacked.

The second point is crucial. Bitcoin is only valuable if it truly becomes a critical world currency. In other words, if you truly need it to buy stuff, and thus you need to buy coins from some other person in order to conduct important bits of world commerce that you can’t do any other way. Right now, speculators are the only people driving up the price.

A speculative cult currency like bitcoin is only valuable when you cash it out to a real currency, like the US dollar, and use it to buy something useful like a nice house or a business. When the supply of foolish speculators dries up the value evaporates – often very quickly.

A currency should also not be artificially sparse. It needs to expand with the supply of goods and services in the world, otherwise we end up with deflation and hoarding. It helps to have the Federal Reserve system and other central banks guiding the system.

Finally, nothing becomes a good investment just because “it’s been going up in price lately”.

The world’s governments are not going to let everyone start trading money anonymously and evading taxes using bitcoin. If cryptocurrency does take off, it will be in a government-backed form, like a new “Fedcoin”. Full anonymity and government evasion will not be one of its features.

The cryptocurrency bubble is really a repetition of the past. This is a known bug in our operating system, and we have designed some parts of our society to protect us against it.

These days, stocks in the US are regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission, precisely, because in the olden days, there were many stocks issued that were much like bitcoin, marketed to unsophisticated investors as a get-rich-quick scheme. The very definition of this investor is: “Being more willing to buy something the more its price goes up.”

Don’t be one of these fools.

Scarcity and utility
In economics, something has value if it checks the following two boxes: scarcity and utility. Scarcity just means that something has a finite supply. In the case of bitcoin, the cryptocurrency has a set cap of 21 million bitcoins.

Many analysts note that this set cap makes bitcoin more desirable than other assets, even gold. That’s because unlike with gold, there’s no need to worry about a digital Gold Rush. A treasure trove of bitcoin won’t ever be “discovered,” causing the crypto’s price to crash with an influx in supply.

“There are potentially millions of times more gold underground than actually has been extracted,” said Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors. Lee was chief equity strategist at J.P. Morgan before co-founding Fundstrat in 2014.

Ben Yu, a blockchain expert living in San Francisco, says technological advances are also making gold easier to mine.

“Today we mine gold at four times the rate that we did just 100 years ago,” Yu said.

So if bitcoin has scarcity, what about its utility?

Many believe the cryptocurrency’s utility lies in its potential to be a more efficient commodity than we already have. Proponents of bitcoin like it for a number of reasons.

First, bitcoin is decentralized, meaning no government, bank or single person has control over it; it can’t be toppled by corruption at the top. It’s also trivially divisible, meaning you can buy a small item like a doughnut with it as easily as you can buy a house or even a mansion. And finally, the code it’s built on is open source, meaning that it’s available for anyone to look at, scrutinize and even modify. This means bitcoin is constantly evolving and improving.

None of those uses is intrinsic, however. And that’s a point bitcoin skeptics often make. Gold, for example, is thought to have intrinsic value because of its applications in industries like dentistry and electronics. Some people even argue that dollar bills have intrinsic value, since they can be used as kindling or to write on.

But as you break down either of those claims, it becomes clear that gold and paper money don’t have that much intrinsic value either.

According to the World Gold Council, in 2016, only 15 percent of gold was used in industries. The majority went toward making jewelry and gold bars and coins — items that have value mainly because they’re trusted to be valuable.

With paper money, the Federal Reserve says it costs about 16 cents to create a $100 bill.

So the rest of that hundred bucks — the remaining $99.84 — comes from the trust people place in it.

It can be hard to see the digital currency as having value because you can’t hold it in your hand like you can a dollar bill or gold.

As a solution, Lee said to think of bitcoin as a digital business.

“If you ask a baby boomer, ‘Can you justify the value of anything that’s a digital business?’ they probably don’t accept that Facebook, Google, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, these are the largest companies in the S&P 500 and they’re primarily digital businesses built almost purely on digital trust,” said Lee.

“Anyone who thinks digital gold isn’t a store value is overlooking the fact that most businesses today are built around digital trust, including the financial system.”

Valuing the cryptocurrency
It’s clear that some people believe bitcoin has value. And if it has value, it’s hard not to wonder how much a single bitcoin could end up being worth.

There are two main theories being used to calculate the potential value of one bitcoin.

The first theorizes that bitcoin, which some perceive to be a better asset than gold, could end up replacing either a portion of gold or gold entirely.

If it were to replace gold entirely, one bitcoin could be worth $357,000. That’s calculated by taking the total value of all the gold ever mined in the world, which is about $7.5 trillion, and dividing that number by 21 million — the total bitcoins that can ever exist.

Lee told CNBC it’s more realistic to assume bitcoin will replace 5 percent of gold within five years, making a single coin worth $25,000.

Another theory of Lee’s is based on Metcalfe’s law, which says that the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of users on the network.

For example, one phone is useless because you can’t call anyone else with it. But the value increases exponentially as other people get phones.

Studies have shown that Metcalfe’s law holds true for Facebook using 10 years of data. It also holds true for Tencent, China’s largest social media company.

Fundstrat looked at users on the bitcoin network and found that the square of this value explained 94 percent of the variation in bitcoin prices since 2014.

Many people think that bitcoin is a bubble, and that’s predicted on the concept that bitcoin has no value. But there’s reason to believe that that just isn’t true.

By definition, bitcoin is scarce. And the cryptocurrency may have utility as a superior way to store and exchange wealth.

Bitcoin’s creator may be worth $14 billion

N40,000 Per Hour: First Sex Doll Brothel Opens In Germany

Well, the bizarre sex doll which has become a talk of the town across many nations has finally reached Germany, with the country’s first sex doll-only brothel opening for business.

29-year-old Evelyn Schwarz, runs the aptly named ‘Bordoll’ in Dortmund, Germany – A fusion of the words ‘bordello’ and ‘doll’.

Originally looking into S&M, Schwarz instead decided to buy 11 silicone ‘love dolls’ each of which she gave a unique name.

The five stone sex dolls are imported from Asia and cost her €2,000 (N880,000) each.

They all have different heights, hair colours and breast sizes. One sex doll is even made to look exactly like a blue-haired Japanese anime character.

It has been such a success that the dolls are booked around 12 times a day, costing €80 (£71) per hour.
