For instance, it is incredible at least for the fact that, even when adjusted for inflation, it currently is most expensive car in the world of all time. However, it would be doing Sweptail a disservice if we just talked about its price tag, as there are a whole lot of firsts associated with it.

Even the exterior of this amazing car is very distinct. While it is unmistakably a Rolls-Royce, with its signature Pantheon grille, nothing else in this vehicle resembles any other model ever produced by the company.

Sweptail got its name from its most prominent feature, namely its swept tail. It is said that Rolls-Royce artists were inspired by nautical themes, making the car slightly resemble a boat. It has the unique number ’08’ sitting at both the front and the back, identifying it as one of the most unique and expensive cars ever produced by Rolls-Royce.

The interior of the car is not any less impressive than its exterior. Due to the roof of the car being so different from what Rolls-Royce usually does, the back of the car had to be redesigned. But that actually aligned with the wishes of the customer, who wanted a special wooden cabinet installed there.

Most of the interior is covered in incredibly expensive Macassar Ebony and Paldao wood, as well as in Dark Spice and Moccasin leathers. The centre console holds a mechanism that opens up to crystal champagne flutes and a bottle of champagne. We cannot even imagine what it feels like to sit inside that car.

As for the specs, it turns out that they have not done much to improve the internal components they usually put in their custom cars. Sweptail boasts a V12 6.75 L engine, 531 pound-feet of torque, 453 horsepower and a top speed of 150 mph, which are all common for Rolls-Royce top shelf cars. It can get from 0 to 60 in 5.6 seconds.

Well, that is because it is still unknown who dished out a baker’s dozen of millions to order such a beauty. Even though their deluxe car has appeared at multiple car shows and was even seen a few times on the roads, nobody knows who owns the beautiful piece.

39 year old mother of five declares bid for Presidency (photos)

A female presidential aspirant under the National Interest Party, Mrs. Eunice Atuejide, on Friday made her declaration in Abuja, noting that Nigeria was not developing because of the “problem of vested interests”.

Atuejide, a mother of five children from Enugu State, said the country needed “level-headed people who will not focus on any group or vested interests but who will pursue our National Interest with all the tools available to them.”

The presidential aspirant, who accepted that she was gripped with the “fear of the unknown”, promised a transparent and accountable administration if Nigerians elected her into power.

The 39-year-old said, “Have we stopped to look behind the curtains to see what is keeping us at a standstill in Nigeria? It is not just the lack of education, blueprints or leadership. We need level-headed people who will not focus solely on any group’s vested interest.

“In offering to lead the country, my administration will not focus solely on the interests of any person, tribe, religion or ethnic group. No side is superior to another side. Nigeria will have a transparent and accountable government. This will be a government where every public account can be scrutinised and our funds followed up by our people.

“I disagree with the notion that Nigeria is too complex; that our people are too difficult to govern, that our democracy will not work. I disagree.”

The NIP acting National Chairman, Azeez Oladapo, said the objectives of the party included “finding quality leaders within the age range of 21 to 45 years to entrust with the continued development and sustenance of Nigeria”.

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has been spotted driving in an incredible new limo created with jaw-dropping designs.

President Vladimir Putin rolled into his Helsinki summit with President Trump with a new ride that can compare to the Secret Service-operated 'Beast.'

The Russian strongman arrived in the back of his brand new Aurus Senat limousine in only the second time it has been used since his inauguration earlier this year.

Little is known about the features of the Senat save that it can be fully submerged in water while keeping the occupants safe, and runs on tyres reinforced with steel to stop them going flat.

Meanwhile The Beast features night vision cameras, tear gas cannons, a completely sealed main compartment capable of withstanding a chemical attack, and several pints of the President's blood for emergency transfusions. 

Automobile expert Vyacheslav Subbotin told the Zvezda TV channel that Putin's limo features 'an armoured capsule' which can withstand gunshots and landmine blasts. 

On the communication system, he said: 'The system is internal, it is built entirely on our satellites and is completely in-built into the car which is incredibly important. The car will stay in touch under any circumstances.

'The defence system is also top level; should there be a chemical attack, the car can shut its windows and remain for long time underwater, just like a submarine. 

'The limo has its unusual gear shift. It is automatic, and it's hybrid with a generator that can work both as an electric engine and as a generator.'

The body is covered in 15 millimetres of armour plating with a reinforced chassis ensuring the body will not fall apart under stress. 

'The body of the car is Russian invention as despite its size and heavy protection it turned out to be quite light.

'The construction deals really well with torsion and bending, there was a lot of strong boron-containing materials used. The car is almost seven metres long, it is a very serious work indeed.' 

Russia began developing the Senat limo as part of a family of family of vehicles dubbed Kortezh in 2012 and has so-far spent $300million on the project, according to The Drive.

The vehicle measures 23ft long, which is slightly longer than The Beast, but is lighter, weighing in at 6.5 tons.

Given how much it weighs the vehicle almost certainly features armour plating and a reinforced chassis to withstand bomb blasts, though Russia has not revealed any of these details.

The Senat is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter Porsche-developed V8 engine and will replace the adapted Mercedes-Benz Pullman limousine which Russian presidents have used since 1994.

Inside, the limousine is decked out with white leather seats and wood detailing and features a large Russian coat of arms stitched into the door. 

It also features a digital dashboard and on board multimedia system. 

Russia is also developing four-door and minivan concepts based on the limousine which will be sold to the public, some of which featured in Putin's motorcade. 

According to the Financial Express, the car was jointly developed with German firms Porsche and Bosch along with Moscow-based Central Scientific Research Automobile & Engine Institute.

It reportedly gets 592 horsepower. Russian leaders traveled in a Russian-made ZILS under Soviet Times, and later in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. 

It wasn't immediately known what security capabilities it has, but 'the Beast' has puncture resistant tires, armored plating, protection from bio chemical attack, and a sealed gas tank.

Meanwhile The Beast is a seven-seat black limousine which is designed to give Mr Trump the ultimate protection. 

It can be turned into a sealed panic room with oxygen tanks, night-vision camera and reinforced steel plating said to be able to resist bullets, chemical attacks and bombs.

The Cadillac has Kevlar-reinforced tyres and steel rims that can keep the vehicle moving even if the tyres have been destroyed.

Bottles of the president's blood type are carried on board in case of a medical emergency, and a satellite phone enables communication to be maintained from anywhere in the world.

As well as being able to defend the president, the car also features a host of attacking capabilities, such as a pump-action shotgun and a tear gas cannon.

The new Russian vehicle is just one of many ways Putin is using symbolism to boost his public image at the summit.

He congratulated French winners of the World Cup in St. Petersburg on Sunday night – and Trump turned around and lauded Putin for the successful tournament.

When Trump sent out another tweet blasting U.S. 'foolishness and stupidity' for making the U.S. relationship worse than ever, Russia's foreign ministry seized the opportunity, retweeting: 'We agree.' 

Putin's tarty landing pushed the summit schedule back by an hour and sent a signal to the U.S. government that Moscow is running the show in Helsinki.

Some hard-core Nicki Minaj fans can now say their favorite rapper is paying for them to go to college.

The “Chun-Li” artist and entrepreneur awarded 37 of her biggest devotees her “Student of the Game” scholarship on Friday, pledging to pay off either their college tuition or student loans.

Minaj’s charitable efforts began in May 2017, when she posted a few students’ names with a total of their loans, school expenses and summer classes she spontaneously paid off via her Instagram. She announced in the caption she was launching her “official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments VERY SOON.”

She then started her “Student of the Game” scholarship, which informed its first round of winners last month and finalized the recipient pool Friday on Minaj’s wesbite. She informed her Twitter followers that winners are eligible to win the scholarship multiple times, but not in consecutive years.

Former President's Wife Dies In Fatal Accident, Many Inured

Former Cambodian prime minister has been seriously injured in a car crash which killed his wife and injured at least seven others.

Officials said Prince Norodom Ranariddh was in a convoy with other senior figures of his FUNCINPEC party and was heading towards the seaside town of Sihanoukville in southwestern Cambodia when the accident happened on Sunday.

The SUV the 74-year-old politician was travelling in collided with a taxi travelling in the opposite direction, according to a senior party member in the group.

The deadly crash comes ahead of the country's general election next month, in which the former prime minister and his wife were running as candidates.

Police chief General Chuon Narin said Prince Ranariddh had suffered head injuries and was sent to the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh for treatment.

The officer said the politician's wife, Ouk Phalla, died in hospital.

The prince - a son of the late King Norodom Sihanouk - was Cambodia's co-prime minister for four years in an uneasy power-sharing deal with the current leader Hun Sen after his party won a United Nations-organised election in 1993.

His royal background made him popular despite having a strained relationship with his father.

Prince Ranariddh was ousted in 1997 and fled abroad as tensions between him and Mr Sen boiled over and led to two days of clashes in the capital between supporters of the two leaders. He returned to contest, only to be hit with this tragic incident.

Kenyan actress, Jacqueline Nyamide, popularly known as Wilbroda, has been left in shock after discovering that her househelp breastfed her son when he was eight months-old.

Speaking to a Kenyan Magazine, Wibroda said that the incident became known after she got an anonymous tip while on a trip to Mombasa

Wibroda disclosed that she received a call that the househelp was breastfeeding the child to make him stop crying.

“When my son was about eight months old, I had to travel to Mombasa on a work assignment so I left him in the care of a nanny whom I had trusted so much. While in Mombasa, I received an anonymous call and was informed that my house help breastfed my son whenever he cried,” said Wilbroda.

I was informed that my nanny not only breastfeeds my son but was also living with HIV,” Wilbroda added.

Traumatised, she took the first flight back to Nairobi then rushed the baby to the hospital to have tests carried out to ascertain his state of health.

Wilbroda says she immediately fired her house help even after her son tested negative. She says she was tempted to hurt her nanny but she managed to control her anger.

According to Wilbroda, the househelp was sacked the following day.

“I didn’t sleep that night and had to rush to the hospital around midnight to have my son tested.

“Fortunately, he was fine. To cut the long story short I fired the nanny the following day. It took immense self-control to restrain myself from harming her,” she said.

A groom divorced his bride just 15 minutes after their Islamic wedding because he felt 'insulted' by her father's dowry demands.

The man agreed to pay his new father-in-law Dh100,000 (£20,000) for their wedding in Dubai but the older man became impatient to get the cash.

Family members and friends accompanied the couple to a Sharia judge’s office to witness the marriage contract being signed.

The groom handed over Dh50,000 (£10,000) on the spot as agreed, with the rest to come after the party left the court building, according to Gulf News.

He said it would only take five minutes to walk to his car, which was parked outside, and get the rest of the dowry.

Instead of letting him retrieve it, he insisted he either pay right then or send a friend or relative to get the money while he stayed inside.

The groom felt 'insulted and demeaned' by the series of demands and called off the marriage immediately, a lawyer handling the case said.

Divorcing in just 15 minutes seems extreme but it was not the shortest marriage in the emirate's history and another lasted just seconds.

In that case in 2012, the groom stepped across the corridor into the divorce court because the bride's father demanded the she be allowed to keep her job.

This year’s big winners at the Billboard Awards included rapper Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and British star Ed Sheehan.

Kendrick picked up six gongs, including Top Streaming Song Artist and Top Rap Artist, meanwhile, Bruno Mars took home five awards.

Ed Sheeran bagged three trophies, one of which was for Top Radio Song Artist, however, his song Perfect failed to win the Top Selling Song award.

People in certain parts of northern India woke up to a violent weather that uprooted trees, electric poles, and homes, leaving 77 people dead and 143 injured.

As victims slept in the early hours of Thursday, an “apocalyptic” dust storm and lightning struck in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh states. Most of the victims died when their homes collapsed from lightning strikes or when they were crushed by falling trees, local media reported. The storm was also responsible for killing livestock.

The worst-hit areas included Agra, Alwar, Bharatpur and Dholpur. At least 40 mud huts were destroyed by flames after lightning struck a village in Dholpur district.

The local government has launched a disaster relief effort and offered compensation to the victims. Vasundhara Raje, the chief minister of Rajasthan, offered condolences to the victims’ families and announced she had asked local authorities to do everything they can to help the survivors.

She tweeted: “Have directed Ministers and concerned officials to affected areas to begin relief work immediately and restore utilities. An unfortunate incident, we have been working closely with local authorities to mitigate the situation.”
