Meet the most dangerous leaders in the world

Who is the worst leader in the world right now, and why?

I know most people are likely going to write about Trump and Kim Jong Un as of 2017, but I’m going to take the more obscure route and go with this guy. . .

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei. For those of you who don’t know, Brunei is a small Southeast Asian country located on the island of Borneo. What makes him one of the worst leaders in my opinion is his over the top decadence and douchebaggery.

For example, the Sultan’s lifestyle includes. . .

A golden palace which is one of the largest in the world, with its 1788 rooms, with its 564 chandeliers, and a stable for the Sultan’s 200 polo horses.

The Sultan also posseses a car collection of around 7,000 cars, with most of them being vintage or custom made and being left to rot.

He also built a $27 Million stadium for Michael Jackson to perform 3 concerts for his birthday (Can’t find any images of this)

Then there’s his private Jet which I don’t have to explain at this point.

I know what you may be thinking,

“He only lives like a bad person, not acting like one!”

Well, sure he isn’t killing anyone and Brunei is a wealthy country, but he did sign Sharia into law, being the only country in Southeast asia to do so, even though he violates it every day with his decadence.

In conclusion, the Sultan of Brunei may not be a bloodthirsty dictator, but is certainly an over the top, hypocritical, asshole.

Lets take a look at some of his quotes.

To Obama: “Who does he think he is? I am no American puppet. I am the president of a sovereign country and I am not answerable to anyone except the Filipino people, nobody but nobody. You must be respectful. Do not just throw questions. Son of a bitch I will swear at you in that forum”

and

'son of a whore'

“I don’t give a sh*t about human rights”

"Hitler massacred three million Jews. Now, there is three million drug addicts. I'd be happy to slaughter them,"

"Forget the laws on human rights. If I make it to the presidential palace, I will do just what I did as mayor. You drug pushers, hold-up men and do-nothings, you better go out. Because I'd kill you,"

"I'll dump all of you into Manila Bay, and fatten all the fish there."

“Just because you’re a journalist you are not exempted from assassination, if you're a son of a bitch

Duterte rose to power on June 30th, 2016 promising to reduce drug use and trafficking in his nation. He allowed and encouraged the murders of drugs traffickers and addicts.

He killed thousands of people right on the streets for using drugs, but shouldn't these crimes be settled in the court?

Peter Flom has three very good answers (Kim Jong Uh, Bashar al-Assad, and Putin, all). These are very good for obvious reasons.
And Enrique Pareja adds a good one: though he's not as much in the media eye as he was several years ago, let's all not forget the horrible Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, who murdered several supporters of an election rival as intimidation and has overseen such awful conditions (a loaf of bread costs millions of dollars in Zimbabwe). Keep in mind that the turmoil that led to Mugabe's rise and fuels many of his policies (over race relations and a transfer of power from white Africans to black ones) occurred at the same time in South Africa, but under the governance of Nelson Mandela had much different (better) outcomes.
I'd like to add two who have been neglected so far (one maybe understandably):
Ahmadinejad of Iran also supreses his people (rigging elections and punishing dissidents), is an ally of terrorist organizations, and is a major source of tension in the Middle East region and around the world.
Xi Jinping oversees major human rights, political, media and military abuses in China (press censorship, forced labor from dissidents, forced abortions, etc.), but that's more of a Communist party leadership thing than the product of any individual.

What I’m about to show you is not only the worst leader right now, but also the worst human being on Earth.

Let me introduce to you Theodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the president of Equatorial Guinea.

In case you don’t know where it is, it locates on the central west of Africa. The population is about 1,222,245 and the country is blessed with nature resources with lots of crude oil, natural gas and timber.

See that tiny, red square on the central west of Africa? That’s Equatorial Guinea.

Why he is a worst leader, you ask? Because of the following things he has done:

He seized the government in a bloody coup on August 1979 and ruled the country ever since.Lack of democracy as the elections are always rigged in his favour.Creates a cult of personality by ordering people to wish him well instead of the country.Frequently tortures his political opponents, protestors, and anyone who dare to question him.People living less than $1 per day, despite the government earns oil revenues in the billions yearly.Very poor healthcare services and has one of the world’s highest child mortality. Most people cannot access clean water and sanitation. They also cannot afford basic education and healthcare. For him, the country is basically a playground and looting its resources as much as possible.More than 1,000 people were forcibly evicted from their homes and to date, no compensations were ever given.[1]The country is a hub for human trafficking. The government are not even bothering to do something about it.It is unfriendly country to do business here. You will be asked to pay a high sum of money for fees (bribe actually), or will be asked to handover all your assets. Failure to do so will result in detention and getting tortured.Anti-corruption organizations and human rights organizations are non-existent.There’s no freedom of press and all media are controlled by the government.Worst of all, the corruption is extremely high by world’s standards. In fact, the country is literally a perfect kleptocracy.

The level of systematic corruption is so fucked up that the elites don’t want share a fraction of its wealth to the people at all. The NGOs are currently providing the people education and health services even though it is unnecessary.[2]

Theoretically, Equatorial Guinea is the wealthiest country on Africa with GDP per capita of $32,026 and on par with European countries.

Sadly, due to misdistrubution of wealth and the government treating it as cash machine over public benefits, the quality of life is much poorer than Chad or Afghanistan.[3]

But that’s not all. What makes country more depressing is his son Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue.

Even though he is vice-president and receive $100,000 salary, he loots the oil profits and places high tax on timbers for export to fund his absurd lavish life.[4]

He also has Instagram account and got over 114k followers. Many fans are praising him for his playboy lifestyle, yet they’re all oblivious to the sources of his wealth.

Here are some images from his Instagram account:[5]

Meanwhile in Equatorial Guinea:

Seriously, he makes Donald Trump look like a saint in comparsion.

In the end, by using oil revenue to enrich themselves with complete disregard to its people’s well-being, Theodoro along with his son, are the most hypocrite, brutal, corrupted leader and human being in the whole world.

May I present you our dear Prime Minister (of Greece), Alexis Tsipras.

His pre-election slogan was “Hope is coming”. Joke of the year.

Greece was fighting the Crisis, and all we needed was a man that would get the country up and standing again. What this man did was a giant loop and now things are the same again as they were before the loop.

He said that he would put an end to the memorandums. He signed for another. He said he will give more power to the workers (typical left). More and more are becoming poor.He organized a competition for an economic subsidy, in order to help the unemployed. Not a single Greek received it. The ones who received it are the Roma, gypsies, Albanians and the rest of the minorities. He gave the sacred name of Macedonia to some slavic people next to us, that have nothing to do with our predecessors. He stopped giving the typical subsidies to multi-child families in order to “help the 1 or 2 child-families”. How can the unlucky multi-child families even have a small chance of surviving now? (Many parents are unemployed).

I could go on forever.

A lot of people call him and his party “National traitors”, especially after he didn't give any attention to the people's voice (the people organized TWO rallies) for the name of Macedonia.

This government is selling out our name, our pride, our land.

And our anarchists are calling the desperate people “Fascists”.

P.S.: I honestly see no redemption. All politicians are some jokes. There is not a single politician able to help the country. And then we all wonder why the Greek youth is fleeing to other countries to find a good job and raise a family.

Pretty impressive league tables, but the leading contender (in my opinion) hasn't been mentioned.

Omar al-Bashir is the only sitting president ever indicted for genocide.  He's actually personally directed two separate genocides, one against Darfur and the other against South Sudan.    Kim Jong Un inherited a prison-house nation and is keeping it that way.  Putin squashed a nascent democracy to make more room for an amoral, jingoistic kleptocracy that leaves the poor destitute but feeds them with hatred and resentment.  Mugabe uses torture and racism to stay in power and uses that power largely to steal. Bashar al-Assad responded to a threat to his rule by igniting a civil war and prosecuting it in a way that makes the so called "war crimes" of the Israelis look like tart words at High Tea.

But Bashir! Bashir is in a class by himself.  He's the single individual responsible for killing more people than have been killed under the watches of Kim, Putin, Mugabe, and Assad put together - by an order of magnitude.

He was a general and then the President during the 22 year long Second Sudanese war, which killed about two million people.  He directed the genocide in Darfur, which has killed 200,000 - 400,000 and displaced 2.5 million.  To kill, proportionately, as many Russians, Putin would have to knock off about ten million of them.

For longevity, brutality, murder, and misery, no one comes close to Omar al-Bashir.  I'm a peace-loving guy, but if someone took a red hot spike and slowly shoved it up his ass, and cooked him from the inside out, it'd be no more than justice.
