The life of a Nigerian child - Francis oboh

Am tired of this messed up life,
Where no one is allowed to be someone
The less privileged cant be someone
Many tried to be seen but cannot be seen
Well this is a story of a less privileged black child.

This is how we suffer nothing to live for ,
We are trained to make education our priority but after acquiring our certificates, then their would be no job,
We got talents but we cant show it, we cant manifest it.
If a child is good with computers, their would be no gadgets available, if there are gadgets .
Their would be no data, if their is data, no network.
If a child is a good dancer, no dancing groups, no freedom to show your talent.
We the black kids we are suffering silently.
I think the blacks in a whole is the cause of their problems. We fight each other, start unreasonable wars.
Our society is full of nepotism
You need connection to get a job while you already have your certificate,
You need connection to be an actor/actress
You need connection to go into politics.

If we try to become someone our fellow black would want to bring us down and achieve what we worked hard for.

Watching our youths growing up caring much about facebook likes, cloths,movies etc , it's really hurting... We care more of those things than our future... It was unplanned future that lead us to our situation.

A white ones called my fellow  a 3rd world fool, why because he tried to join them invent things, they see us less than what we see them, and i think we can do nothing about it, while growing up i thought my country Nigeria would be better but its now nothing.

Our pride was oil is now nothing, our soul called leaders are like parasites eating the country which is the host and we the citizens too are eating up the country by doing noting.

Kids are raised to believe their is life after death instead to be raised to make life better while they re still alive.

An advice to my fellow youths, break the social network addiction,smoking,thug lifes,games addiction etc. and find your talent, show the world that we can be known, don't give up while trying, our future lies on this generation (youths) because the past generation has failed us...
