Man beaten to death for peeping at naked woman in hotel.

Newsmen reports that the incident happened at the popular hotel known as T. Lounge located at Oladunni Street by Council Bus Stop in Idimu, Lagos.

The hotel has temporarily been shut after the family of the victim identified as Diolu deposited his corpse inside the hotel and attempted to burn it down while protesting over the murder.

It took the intervention of the DPO, CSP Oliver Ezerim, who deployed the police officers that retrieved the corpse and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy report. The police then arrested Adebor and detained him at the police station for the alleged murder.

Newsmen  scooped that Adebor brought the unidentified lady to the hotel for a sex romp when she went to ease herself and had altercation with the late Diolu.

She went and reported to Adebor that the deceased came to where she was urinating and was peeping at her private part. In anger, Adebor immediately confronted Diolu and they had an exchange of words.

In the process, Adebor carried a stone and hit Diolu on the head; he collapsed and bled profusely. The management rushed Diolu to an undisclosed hospital where he eventually died before the doctor could revive him.

The death sparked a protest before the police intervened and restored peace in the area. The police also stationed two patrol vehicles and armed officers to prevent further breach of public peace.

When our correspondent visited the hotel, it was shut as customers and visitors were not allowed to gain entrance.

At the Idimu Police Division, the DPO was not around to comment on the matter when our reporter visited the police station.

However, the suspect, Mr. Adebor was seen detained in the cell as sources at the police station confirmed the incident and said that it was a case of murder which the Division had no jurisdiction to investigate.

The police source said that the suspect will be transferred to the homicide department at the SCIID Panti, Yaba, for further investigations as the autopsy report was being awaited to determine the cause of the death.

Residents who spoke to newsmen expressed shock over the death and lamented that since the incident happened on Sunday, there had been tension in the area and businesses had been grounded due to fear of possible arrest by the police.

Boy stabs female classmate for saying she ‘only likes him as a friend’.

A schoolboy has been reported to have repeatedly stabbed a female classmate of his allegedly because she had ‘friendzoned’ him.

The unnamed girl, 14, was stabbed nine to eleven times in a school assembly on August 16, on the first day of term at Luther High School.

The victim told police on Wednesday that a boy at the school attacked her because she told him she wasn’t interested in a relationship.

Luther police chief David Randall told NewsOk:

“There was one point where he approached her in reference to try to have some type of relationship, to which she said she wasn’t interested in it.

“She said she liked him as a friend not anything more and that they remained friends.”

Despite being turned down, the attacker continued to slip notes into her locker asking her to go out with him.

Police chief Randall added that the victim had no idea the 14-year-old boy held any ill will towards her and that the vicious attack came as a complete surprise.

Rumours that the attack was motivated by bullying were also denied by the teen victim who said that she had never talked badly about the boy.

The girl was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the gruesome attack, but has since been discharged from hospital. She has not yet returned to lessons.

3. THE ALLIANZ ARENA, GERMANY

Opened in 2005, this football arena has an iconic design being home to both Munich-based football teams: Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich. Depending on which team is playing, the stadium can change colors from red to blue and many more. For this purpose, ETFE-foil air panels are used. It is considered one of the best stadiums in the world for its style and shape. The Allianz Arena can host 75,000 spectators.

4. WEMBLEY, THE UNITED KINGDOM

Opened in 1923, Wembley Stadium underwent a significant refurbishment in 2007. With a capacity of 90,000 seats, it is the most beautifully designed football stadium in the United Kingdom.

What makes this stadium even more beautiful is the 134 meters high Wembley Arch stretching over the building. The London Wembley Stadium is called “The Home of Football” as it hosts all the football games as well as musical performances of the most famous singers.

6. PANCHO ARENA, HUNGARY

The Pancho Arena is, without doubt, remarkable. With a capacity of 4,500 seats, it features an incredible wooden interior with curved lines. The Pancho Arena was designed by famous Hungarian architect Imre Makovetz who created a feeling of sitting in a museum or holy place.

This architectural miracle was opened in 2014 in Magyar city. It was named after the Hungarian legend of the game Ferenc Puskás whose nickname was Pancho.

7. STADION GOSPIN DOLAC, CROATIA

Stadion Gospin Dolac is not the biggest stadium in the world, but it is one of the most beautiful. Built in 1989, it is located on the Croatian/Bosnian border. The Gospin Dolac has a capacity of more than 4000 seats. It is built in the rocks next to the world-known Blue Lake.

8. ESTÁDIO MUNICIPAL DE AVEIRO, PORTUGAL

In 2003, Portuguese architect Tomas Taveira created one of the top 10 finest stadiums in the world. The Aveiro municipal stadium is a colorful, Lego-like building that adds some fun to the lives of Portuguese fans and football players. Its capacity is more than 30,000 viewers.

9. SVANGASKARD STADIUM, FAROES

Svangaskard Stadium is located in the small village of Toftir on the Faroe Islands. First opened in 1980, this football stadium has become home to Faroese premier league club. Cold climate makes this spot quite a comfortable place for football players.

The fans need to make an hour-long journey under tunnels and over bridges to get to the stadium from the neighboring town. Svangaskard Stadium has the capacity to accommodate 6,000 spectators.

10. BIRD’S NEST STADIUM, BEIJING, CHINA

Our list is closing with last but not least 90,000-seat stadium located in China. Built in 2008, the Bird’s Nest Stadium is an impressive structure cost around $450 million. The secret behind the construction of this stadium is very simple. The design of this massive stadium was accomplished by Chinese and Swiss architects who decided to expose the steel structures entirely to make them visible looking like a big nest.
